The Eco Farm Project
Contributing towards a greener and wealthier Indonesia.

Indonesia’s small rural and regional farmers are not exactly chronically poor, but they can be categorised as “penniless”. We believe that there are ways to improve the way they farm so that they can achieve higher yields and incomes. We also believe that providing information, support and guidance is crucial in enabling small-scale farmers to achieve improved agricultural productivity.

The Eco Farm Project is an independent and currently self funded project aims to provide support to the poor sections of the society which are deprived of resources, uneducated and unaware of different programs and resources available to them.

Many small-scale farmers do not have access to modern farming technologies generally because they can't afford them, but there are other alternative ways to farm which are affordable and kind to the environment. We feel that rural farmers should be given opportunity and guidance to effectively recycle and use natural organic materials readily available around them, to improve soil condition and productivity. Farmers can adopt innovative and affordable ways in agricultural practices without the need to damage the environment.

The Eco Farm Project Objectives:

  • Promote eco friendly farming systems through a wide range of activities.
  • Develop collaborative work with the local government and the farming communities to maximise the use of dormant lands, aim to promote greener living, which provide excellent benefits to the environment and the community.
  • Develop collaborative work with the local Agricultural Colleges and Universities, to create agricultural projects involving farmers and agribusiness owners for the benefit of all parties involved.
